Our Hydrogenitor plants help balancing renewable energy fluctuations by an intelligent operating scheme:
- Our Hydrogenitor plants produce green hydrogen when renewable electricity is abundant and cheap
- Our Hydrogenitor plants are waiting in standby and let the valuable renewable electricity pass into the grid when renewable electricity is scarce
- Our Hydrogenitor plants serve the grid by offering control power through dynamic ramp-up and ramp-down between standby and full power in just several minutes
INTEGRATED
Our Hydrogenitor plants are multi-purpose and offer several revenue streams:
- Our Hydrogenitor plants produce valuable green hydrogen for mobility, industry and energy applications
- As a by-product our Hydrogenitor plants produce green oxygen for waste water treatment or green farming
- As another by-product our Hydrogenitor plants produce green heat to be used to heat nearby facilities or to feed heat in local heat networks
- Our Hydrogenitor plants provide control power services to the grid and refine curtailed renewable electricity
LOCAL PARTNERS
Our Hydrogenitor plants will be joint projects between Hydrogenity and our local partners:
- We encourage local co-investors to jointly build and operate our Hydrogenitor sites with us
- With our local partners we secure excellent sites, renewable energy supply, jointly accelerate approval processes and secure local offtake
- Every of our distributed Hydrogenitor plants works independently, but benefits from the full portfolio of Hydrogenity platform services to maintain, secure and operate the plant

HYDROGENITOR 6 - PRODUCT LINE
Our Hydrogenitor green hydrogen production and distribution plants range from 1 MW to 12 MW and can be expanded to even larger capacities.
- Our Hydrogenitor 6 corresponds to our 6 Megawatt green hydrogen plant:
- 600 to 700 tons of renewable hydrogen per year (in grid-serving operation)
- 3 to 4 trailer filling stations for fill pressures up to 450 bars
- can be combined with an integrated hydrogen refueling station with 350 bar and 700 bar refueling for trucks, buses and cars
- footprint of less than 2.500 m² without integrated refueling station and less than 3.500 m² including hydrogen refueling station for trucks, buses and cars
HYDROGENITOR 12 - PRODUCT LINE
Our Hydrogenitor 12 corresponds to our 12 Megawatt green hydrogen plant:
- 1.200 to 1.400 tons of renewable hydrogen per year (in grid-serving operation)
- 3 to 4 trailer filling stations for fill pressures up to 450 bars
- can be combined with an integrated hydrogen refueling station with 350 bar and 700 bar refueling for trucks, buses and cars
- footprint of less than 3.500 m² without integrated refueling station and 5.000 m² including hydrogen refueling station for trucks, buses and cars
